August Events In Grove City
There is always something fun to do in Grove City. Throughout the month, events are planned throughout the weekend for all to enjoy. Below is a list of some of the hottest summer attractions in Grove City.
Friday August 1st
Summer Sizzle Concert with Ricochet Road is a free concert to the public from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of summer fun with live music and children’s activities in the Town Center Plaza at the corner of Park Street and Broadway.
Saturday August 2nd
The Cyndi Black Big Band will be a part of the Summer Sizzle Concert series. This is a free concert to the public from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Farmers Market & Sidewalk Craft Sale will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the corners of Park Street and Broadway. Browse through n extravagant mixture of arm-fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants, meats, baked goods, honey, unique gifts and craft items in an open-air market.
Mount Carmel Walk with a Doc will kick off at 9:00 a.m. the first and third Saturdays of each month. This is a free walking program for all who are interested in moving forward to improve their health. A Mount Carmel physician hosts each event. Not only do you get the health benefits from walking, but also you have the chance to talk to a doctor while you walk. Bring your family, friends, and pets. The event takes place at Mount Carmel Grove City, 5300 North Meadows Dr., Grove City, Ohio 43123.
Thursday August 7th
Fryer Flicks on the Hill presents Where the Wild Things Are. Every Thursday a family friendly movie will be shown on a large inflatable screen at dusk on the sledding hill at Fryer Park, 3899 Orders Road.
Friday August 8th
Another free concert from the Summer Sizzle concert series presents Endless Recess. The concert is free to the public from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday August 9th
The Summer Sizzle Concert will present the Mitchell Project in the in the Town Center Plaza at the corner of Park Street and Broadway from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

7:00 kicks off The Phantomz free concert in the in the Town Center Plaza at the corner of Park Street and Broadway. This is a free concert to the public.
